Ross Ulbricht, founder of darknet marketplace Silk Road, announced on April 10 on Web2 social media that he will make his first public appearance since his release from prison at the upcoming Bitcoin conference in Las Vegas.

Ulbricht was recently granted a full and unconditional pardon by President Trump via an executive order signed in January, in part from Trump’s promise at the 2024 Libertarian National Convention to commute his sentence.
