Today there has been a big change in the NFT world, the most traded Magic Eden market on the Solana side has added ETH Collection trading functionality to the platform.
Last month, unicorn startup Magic Eden announced that it would be adding blocks like Ethereum so anyone could trade. It has long been one of the biggest challenges for OpenSea, the market leader. Until today, it has officially released as an Aggregator or can be bought from other markets, for example, if Bored Ape is available on OpenSea or LooksRare, you can buy it in Magic Eden.
Initially, it was only available to popular collections before Bored Ape Yatch Club, Pudgy Penguins, Otherside, and more. Available wallets include MetaMask, WalletConnect, and Coinbase, which are considered very tribute covers. There is also a Sweep function for people to sweep the floor in the collection as well.
The addition of the Ethereum blockchain follows the company’s multi-chain goals, which OpenSea last April added Solana. Overall, both markets can be used the same. It’s up to the collection to be listed with the number of users.
Magic Eden is currently the 2nd largest NFT exchange in the world, with a significant increase in trading volume. It used to be more than 10 times that of OpenSea. In the last 30 days, the volume difference has only been less than 4 times. This could be another big change and could even be compared to OpenSea.
