Breaking news!! Axie Infinity has been hacked!!
The Ronin Network reports that on March 23, Sky Mavis’s Ronin validator nodes and Axie DAO validator nodes were compromised, resulting in 173,600 Ethereum and 25.5 million USDC being transferred out of the Ronin bridge within 2 transactions (worth more than $625 million).

Sky Mavis’ Ronin typically requires five validator nodes to verify a transaction. The attacker is able to control four of the nine nodes, plus one Axie DAO third-party validator nodes.
Expected cause
Actually, this happened because last November Sky Mavis asked Axie DAO to verify the transaction since it had a lot of transactions, the validator nodes of Axie DAO should have been revoked as soon as. The Sky Mavis finished helping, but it couldn’t be revoked, so Attacker was able to use Axie DAO’s validator nodes to verify the transaction.
The important thing is that this event happened 6 days ago!! But Sky Mavis just realized Because someone told me that they can’t withdraw money! I’m going to die if no one tells me, will I know? Seriously, this work is not to blame for anyone else.
This phenomenon creates many doubts, whether it is a Rug Pool or does not have to follow each other.
